Goldenrod is a beautiful and hardy plant which is happy to move in and decorate places no other plant wants to be. It has often been blamed by allergy sufferers as the source of their problems, but Goldenrod pollen is actually harmless- it is the pollen of the Ragweed plant, which grows in the same habitat and blooms at the same time, which causes allergic reactions.
