Butter-and-Eggs Linaria vulgaris

This is a hardy little roadside flower that loves dry scrabbly soil. Its flowers are pretty, and stay in bloom from May to October. It is related to the garden snapdragon, but this wild version only appears in the characteristic yellow and orange colors which give it its common name.
