Pickerelweed Pontedaria cordata

Pickerelweed is a common and pretty aquatic flower, found most commonly in shallow, quiet, streams, lakes, and rivers. Though its foliage somewhat resembles that of arrowhead, the leaves of the arrowhead are decidedly arrow-shaped, while those of Pickerelweed are heart-shaped, and their respective flowers are drastically different.
